What is an Activation ID?

The activation ID is the unique identifier of an activatable item. An activatable item is either an entitlement line item in a simple entitlement or a Web register key in a bulk entitlement.

Activation ID in FlexNet Operations corresponds to entitlement ID in FlexNet Publisher Licensing Toolkit. In trusted storage, Entitlement ID is the identifier of the entitlement that contains the activatable item.

The activation ID is listed in the Activation ID column on the List Entitlements page. A customer can log in to the End-User Portal with an activation ID.
