Viewing Email Templates

You can view an email template in the Producer Portal and, from its View Email Template page, you can also choose to view as an active template, view as draft, or list all versions of that template (archived, active, and draft).

Viewing Active and Viewing Draft

From the List Email Templates page, you can view any of the listed template versions by clicking its template ID.

The Producer Portal clearly identifies whether the email template version you are viewing is in draft status versus active status. Links for opening the View Email Template page also reflect the template’s status. When a template is in draft status, its view page is View Draft Email Template and the link in the View menu to return to the basic view page is View Draft.

When working with email templates, you can return to the basic view page by clicking View Active or View Draft in the on-page View menu.

To view an email template

From the View Email Template page, click View > View Active or View > View Draft.

The Producer Portal shows the View Email Template page for the current email template.

Listing All Versions

There can be a number of versions for each email template variation. A variation can have one active version, one draft version, and several archived versions.

To view all versions of an email template

On the View Email Template page, click View > List All Versions.

The Producer Portal opens the List All Versions page. From this page, you can click the status of any listed email template version to open its View Email Template page.
