Managing Containerized Applications

Version: This functionality is only available for producers who use the Software Delivery module.

This section explains how to manage and distribute containerized applications. Containerized applications are distributed by means of associating them with a download package that supports the distribution of containerized software. Download packages are groups of files that can be related to one or more products and tied to a producer and a product line (see About Download Packages). It is recommended that you read the section Managing Download Packages in full first, to gain an understanding of the concepts of download packages.

The containerized applications are stored in a separate registry (either hosted by Revenera or hosted by the software producer).

Important: For the instructions in this section, it is expected that you are working on the Producer Portal with the "View and Manage Download Packages" permission.
