About Server Attributes
The following attributes are used when creating, editing, and searching for servers.

Backup License |
The ID of the server’s backup server. |

Deployment |
The deployment type for the server. Choose from Local License Server and Cloud Licensing Service. |

Device Name |
A short, alternate name for the server. |

Host ID Type |
One of several possible device host ID types.
Host ID Type is not shown for servers with the Cloud Licensing Service deployment type. In this case, the host ID type is set by the Server Host Type. |

Identity |
The publisher identity to use for the current server. When creating a server, you can choose from existing identities or keep the default setting: As Defined by Server Host Type. See Managing Publisher Identities for more information about identities. |

Last Modified |
The last date that the server was changed, had entitlements mapped, or had licenses removed. |

License Server ID |
A unique identity for the server. License Server ID is not shown for servers with the Cloud Licensing Service deployment type. In this case, FlexNet Operations automatically generates a License Server ID. (The License Server ID serves as the instance ID to identify this server in endpoint URLs.) |

Additional information about the device for internal use by the producer’s account. |

Account |
The name of the account specified in Account ID. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Account ID |
The account ID for the owner, enterprise, or other account that currently holds the device. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Pre-installed Product |
The product that determines the features included in the pre-installed license for the server. Pre-installed Product settings also determine the license model, license model attributes, and expiration terms used for the pre-installed product on the server. If no pre-installed product is specified, the server inherits the pre-installed product that was added to its server host type. If no pre-installed product is specified in the server host type, the server includes no built-in features in its pre-installed license. |

Server Host Type |
The server host type for the device. When creating a server, you can choose from existing server host types or keep the default setting: Use Default Server Host Type. See Managing Server Host Types for more information about server host types. |

Site Name |
Site Name is optional for local license servers but required for servers that use the Cloud Licensing Service deployment type. The Site Name is a label used to distinguish between different servers when a customer account is given multiple Cloud Licensing Service servers. |

|
Status |
The status of the server. See About Device Status for information about possible status values. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Type |
SERVER for a license server. |

|
User |
The device user associated with the server. See About the Device–Device User Association for more information about device users. |
