Reviewing Activations and Generating Licenses

Prior to generating licenses, the Producer Portal allows you to review the activations. (This step is the same in both the Activate License wizard and the Trusted Activate wizard.)

To review activations and generate licenses

On the Generate Licenses - Review page, click either:

Verify: This option evaluates properties defined and determines whether the license is valid. (Not available for trusted activations.)

•

Generate: This option activates the license and opens the Generated Licenses page.

On the Generated Licenses page

For unconsolidated licenses, a certificate is issued for each product on each server.

For consolidated licenses, one file is issued per server.

For trusted licenses, there is one response/license per host.

Note:For more information about viewing a consolidated license, see Consolidating Licenses. If you have selected more than one file to view, you can choose among license files by selecting the appropriate Consolidated License ID from the drop-down list provided.

On the Generated Licenses page, you can choose to Save to File or Print one or more licenses. (For certificate-based licenses, you can also choose to Email License or see Shipment Records.)
