Certificate License Models

Certificate license models are used to generate licenses that are distributed as license certificates. After delivery, license certificates cannot be securely revoked. The following table describes the four certificate models that are delivered with FlexNet Operations.

Certificate Models	Description
Floating Counted	License rights available network-wide from a license server system that can be shared by a limited number of simultaneous instances of the FLEXenabled application.
Floating Uncounted	License rights available network-wide from a license server system that can be shared by an unlimited number of simultaneous instances of the FLEXenabled application: Very uncommon license model.
Nodelocked Counted	License rights to authorize a limited number of instances of a FLEXenabled application running on a specific machine identified by a unique machine ID or host ID: Uncommon license model.
Nodelocked Uncounted	License rights to authorize an unlimited number of instances of a FLEXenabled application running on a specific machine identified by a unique machine ID or host ID.
