About Physical Distribution and Order Media Requests

For producers who want their end users to be able to request download files on physical media, the End-User Portal includes an Order Media control. Configuring the End-User Portal to handle these requests requires some configuration in the Producer Portal.

Download packages for which orders for physical media are supported must have the Physical Distribution Available attribute set to Yes.

The system configuration settings allow the End-User Portal to show the Order Media control and set a target email address for order media requests. The following settings must be configured on the End-User Portal Setup page.

Show Order Media Button—selected

•

Order Media Destination Email Address—email address to receive order media requests specified

Tip:To show the End-User Portal Setup page in the Producer Portal, click System > Configure > End-User Portal Setup.
