Editing a Download Package File List
You can edit the file list for a download package from the package’s View Download Package page.
The Edit File List page shows all of the files associated with the current download package and allows you to create and edit the file sort order. On the End-User Portal, the files that are part of this package are sorted in ascending order according to the numeric values you enter here. If no sort order is specified or when more than one file has the same Sort Order number, the files are sorted in the alphabetical order by their file description.
The file sort order only applies to the current download package. Therefore, the same file used in more than one download package may have a different sort order value in different packages.
To edit the file list of a download package
| 1. | On the View Download Package page, click Edit > Edit File List. This command opens the Edit File List page. |
| 2. | In the Files in this Download Package list, specify Sort Order values for each file. |
Tip:The Edit File List page also allows you to indicate which, if any, of the files in this download package should ignore download limits inherited from the product. To control whether a file can be downloaded more times than the download limit, in the Ignore Download Limit column, select Yes or No.
| 3. | Click Save File List. |
The Producer Portal saves the file list with the specified sort order values.
