Managing License Model or License Generator Custom Attributes

The Custom Attributes page lists custom attributes with the following information:

Custom Attributes Information

Field	Description
Name	Name of the custom attribute
Type	Type of value the custom attribute accepts: Boolean, Date, Text (free form or single select), Multi-valued text, or Long Text.
Belongs To	Whether the attribute is associated with a license model or a license generator configuration
License Technology	Name of the license technology to which the attribute belongs.

Click an attribute name to view its details.

Click Add a License Model Attribute to create a custom license model attribute.

Click Add a License Generator Attribute to create a license generator configuration attribute, as described in Creating a License Generator Configuration Custom Attribute.

Select the box next to an attribute and click Delete to delete it.

Custom attributes cannot be deleted if the associated license technology is deployed.

•

When a custom attribute is deleted from a draft license technology, then all references to this attribute are deleted from the corresponding generator configuration or license model.
