About the Revenera Registry
The Revenera registry is a central place to manage and distribute your Docker images and Helm charts. Software producers and end-users use a Docker or Helm CLI to connect to the registry.
The following deployment options of a Revenera registry are available:
•
Shared Registry—A registry that supports multiple tenants in the Revenera datacenter. To distinguish between tenants, each download package (as well as the resulting projects in the registry, see About Projects in the Revenera Registry) is automatically prefixed with the 4-character tenant ID. For tag, push, and pull operations, the path of Docker images or Helm charts must be edited to include this tenant ID.
•
Dedicated Registry—Tenants have exclusive access to one registry instance in the Revenera datacenter. Download packages and projects do not require a prefix.
•
Open Registry (Bring Your Own)—Software producers provision their own registry, which must be a Harbor instance. Software producers who choose this option need to communicate the connection details for their Harbor registry to Revenera to enable FlexNet Operations to interact with this registry.
Refer to the standard Docker and Helm documentation for information about viewing images and charts in a registry.
