Batch Activation
Batch activation is the simultaneous activation of multiple entitlement line items under these conditions:
| • | All line items are sold to the same account. |
| • | If the line items use FlexNet Licensing, they must all use the same license model type. |
| • | If the line items use a custom license technology, they must all use the same license technology. |

License consolidation is combining multiple license certificates into a single license file for convenience. License consolidation can be done during batch activation or post-activation.
