What is Batch Activation?
To simplify activation, FlexNet Operations supports simultaneous activation of multiple entitlement line items, provided the following are all true:
| • | All line items are sold to the same account. |
| • | All line items pertain to the same certificate-based license model, that is, node-locked uncounted, node-locked counted, floating uncounted, or floating counted. |
OR
| • | All line items pertain to the same custom license technology. |
In other words, licenses for different customer accounts, trusted storage-based license models, or different certificate-based license models cannot be activated together. Products in the line items can vary. The line items need not share the same entitlement ID.
You can consolidate licenses generated during batch activation.
