Deploy the Embedded Counted License Model

In this exercise, you deploy the FlexNet Licensing technology’s Embedded Counted license model. You deployed FlexNet Licensing and the Nodelocked Uncounted license model in section Getting Started with Entitlement Management. The Embedded Counted license model deployment procedure is similar to the one you performed for Nodelocked Uncounted.

Note:If the Embedded Counted license model is already deployed in your FlexNet Operations instance, you can skip this task and continue with To add the Encryption_Throughput, SimultaneousUsers, and Redundancy features .

To deploy the Embedded Counted license model

In the Producer Portal, click Administer > License Models. The Package Products – License Models page appears.

Search for and select the Embedded Counted license model, click Change State ▼, then select Deploy from the menu.

Click OK in the verification message. This message appears: Deployed the following License Model(s) successfully: Embedded Counted. In the License Models table, Embedded Counted has a state of deployed.
