Viewing a License File for a Device

If a license has been generated for a device, you can view its license file from the default view page.

To view a license file

Click View > View License File.

The View License File page opens. This page shows the text of the license file that was generated for the device.

Tip:A device’s license format settings determine which, if any, of its features are included in a license file. Devices inherit their license format settings from their device model. You can view a license file for a device that stores either its pre-installed license or its pre-installed license plus additional licenses in a license file. (Devices that store both the pre-installed license and additional licenses in trusted storage use capability requests and responses rather than license files.)
