Viewing a Response for a Device Request

If a capability response has been generated for a device, you can view the response from the default view for a device or server page.

To view a capability response

Click View > View Response.

The View Response page opens. This page shows the a human-readable representation of the capability response that was generated for the device.

Tip:A device’s license format settings determine which, if any, of its features are described in capability responses. Devices inherit their license format settings from their device model. You can view a response for a device that stores either its pre-installed license or its pre-installed license plus additional licenses in trusted storage. (Devices that store both the pre-installed license and additional licenses in a license file do not have response files to view.)
