Viewing Products

This Package Products page automatically displays recently accessed products, if applicable.

To view all products, select Products from the Search For choice list, and click the Simple Search button. (Empty searches match all products.) You can also search for products based on specific criteria by

•

Specifying some particular value in the search criteria

•

Changing the Search For setting to a more specific choice, like Products with Part Number

•

Clicking Advanced Search to specify multiple product attributes as search criteria

From the Package Products page, you can also perform the following tasks:

Capability	Description
Add a new product from scratch	To add a new product, click Add New Product. For details, see Creating a Product.
Make a new product from a copy of an existing product	To copy a product, select exactly one product and click Copy. Follow the guidelines to add a new product.
Edit a product	To edit a product, click its name. The product is opened in the wizard.
Delete a product	To delete a product, select one or more products and click the Delete button.
Change the state of a product	Products can be in one of the following states: Draft, Deployed, Inactive, or Obsolete.
Print a product	To print a product, select one or more products and click the Print button.
Export a product	Products can be exported as .jar files for importing into another instance of FlexNet Operations. For details about the export process, see Importing and Exporting Entities.
