Mapping a Suite to a Part Number
A suite can be mapped to one or more part numbers. Part numbers are optional and are selected from a group of unassigned part numbers that have been imported into FlexNet Operations. A part number can be mapped to a particular license model linked with a suite.
To map a suite to a part number

Name of the suite to map to one or more unassigned part numbers:

If you arrived at this page by clicking through the product packaging wizard, a suite name is loaded automatically into the Suite field. |

Otherwise, click the Search button to open a pop-up window in which you can search for the suite to map to part numbers. |
|

Alternatively, type the name of the suite into the Suite field. |

After the suite is selected, click the Map to Part Numbers button. |

A pop-up window appears in which you can search for and select one or more of the Available Part Numbers. Note that the list of part numbers may be large enough to appear on multiple pages in the pop-up window. |

Click the right arrow to move those part numbers to the Selected Part Numbers list. |

When the Selected Part Numbers list is complete, click the Add button to map the part number to the suite. |

If you want to map this part number to a specific license model that is already linked with this suite, select that license model. |

Click the Reset button to reset the mapped part numbers. To remove the link between selected part numbers and this suite, select those part numbers, and click the Remove Part Numbers button. |

Continue with the product packaging process by saving the suite in its current state or moving on to relate the suite to other products. |

Click the Save button to save the mapping of part numbers to the suite. |
