Disassociating a Download Package from Files

You can remove a download package’s file associations from its View Download Package page.

To remove a bad file from a download package or correct a file association that was made in error, follow the instructions below.

To disassociate a download package from a file

On the View Download Package page, click Associate > Disassociate Files. This link opens the Disassociate this Download Package from Files page.

Choose the files to disassociate and click Disassociate from Selected Files.

The Producer Portal removes associations from the selected files and refreshes the Disassociate this Download Package from Files page to show the current download package-file associations, if any.

Tip:If a download package is associated with multiple files and you intend to remove all file associations, you can skip the file choosing step and just click Disassociate from All Files.
