Creating a Product
In this exercise, you create product PhotoPrint from FlexNet Operations demonstration data features PrintToPDF, Print, and PrintHighQualityColor.
To create product PhotoPrint

1.

Click Products > Products. The Package Products page appears. |

Click Add New Product. Under Create A Product, enter the product attributes: |

Product Name: Type PhotoPrint |
|
•
|
Description: Type Sends to PDF file, prints normal quality, or prints high quality. |
|
•
|
Keep the default values for all other attributes. |
|

Click Add Features. The Add Features To Product window opens. |
|

|
In the Add Features To Product window, search for feature names that contain the string Print. Features Print, PrintHighQualityColor, PrintToFiery, PrintToPDF, and PrintToPlotter are listed under Available Features. |

In the Add Features To Product window, under Available Features, select Print, PrintHighQualityColor, and PrintToPDF. |
Note:Press CTRL+click to select non-contiguous items. Press SHIFT+click to select a range of items.

Click Add ► to move features Print, PrintHighQualityColor, and PrintToPDF to Selected Features, then click Add. The window closes and the features are added to product PhotoPrint. |

The features are listed in the Feature or Feature Bundle Name table with their Name, Version, State, and Quantity. In the Quantity column, keep the default values of 1 to specify that there is one copy each of features Print, PrintHighQualityColor, and PrintToPDF in product PhotoPrint. |

Click Save. Note that product PhotoPrint and its version appear in the list on the right side of the page. This message appears: Product PhotoPrint successfully added. |
