Viewing Standalone Device Updates

When an update has been generated for a standalone device, you can view it from the Updates tab.

Version: This tab is only visible to producers who use the Software Delivery module.

To view updates for a standalone device

1.

From the default view of a standalone device, click the Updates tab. If the Updates tab is not visible, select View > View this Device.

On the Updates page, hover the cursor over the filter icon to display the filter selection list. By default, the Updates page is set to display all updates.

You can sort the update list by any column in ascending or descending order.

Click the link in the Status column to see additional information about the update’s status. Note that this information is available only if the device provided a status reason.

You can also search a filtered update list. Use the drop-down menu to narrow your search to either Update ID or Update Name.

The updates for a device are displayed in a grid with the Update name, Update ID, Status and date/time of Last activity. You can sort the list by any of the grid columns.
