Returning a Device
Important:Returning a device is an irreversible action. It is intended for devices that no longer receive capability responses or license files, or servers that no longer serve devices or communicate with the FlexNet Operations back office.
A customer may be required to return a malfunctioning device to a manufacturer or reseller. During the return process, you have the option to move all of the malfunctioning device’s licenses to a replacement device. If you do not move a license, the license is returned to the pool of unused licenses and you can allocate it to another device.
You can return a device from the default view for a device or server page.
