General Settings

Many End-User Portal configuration settings control the appearance or behavior of the portal without being branding-specific. Often these settings correspond to the functionality your account wants to provide in its End-User Portal.

Option

Description

Hide Top-level Navigation

Select to hide the top-level navigation portal-wide. Use this option with caution; hiding the primary navigation restricts access to all but the initial landing page.

This may be appropriate for some embedded implementations—for example, included via an iframe in another application page.

Hide Header

Select to hide header on each page. The header is the area above the primary navigation. This setting is useful when the End-User Portal is to be embedded in your own online property. When configured this way, the End-User Portal shows the user menu and system help in the main content area.
