General Options Configurations

These settings correspond to the General Options section of the End-User Portal Setup page in System > Configure.

Transferred Items Set to On Hold

Selected or unselected

Set the state of items transferred in the End-User Portal to On Hold and send an email to the FlexNet Operations administrator to approve the transfer by releasing the hold.

 

Enable Auto Login

Selected or unselected

Select to enable an end user to log in to the portal by passing an activation ID or entitlement ID in the login URL.

 

Hide Header

Selected or unselected

Hides the header in all pages of portal. Select to enable when End-User Portal is embedded into an external portal.

 

Skip Home Page

Selected or unselected

Skips the Home page after a user logs in and proceeds directly to the List Entitlements page.

 

Resource Bundle Time-to-Live

30 or specify

Reload the resource bundle cache at this time interval (minutes). Specify the number of minutes between resource bundle cache reloads.

Enable Self-Registration for an existing Account

Selected or unselected

Select to enable an end user to be associated with an existing Self-Registered account when they self-register in the End-User Portal with an entitlement ID or activation ID.

 

Enable terms and conditions panel

Selected or unselected

Show or hide the Privacy Terms and Conditions link on the Register for Account page for self-registering users. If enabled, users are reminded to read the privacy terms and conditions when they click Complete on the Register for Account page. When a user clicks the link, the Privacy Terms and Conditions are opened in a new tab. Customers are not required to acknowledge that they have read the Privacy Terms and Conditions.

If you selected Enable terms and conditions panel, enter the URL to the Privacy Terms and Conditions that a self-registering user should read before registering.

 

Show Download Button

Selected or unselected

Show or hide the Download button on the Downloads tab on the device’s default view. If selected, the Download button enables a user to download entire download packages or individual files contained in a download package.

Requires that the configuration setting Hide Download Manager (in the Downloads Page section) be unselected and Show Downloads Tab (in the Devices Page section) be selected.

Default: Unselected.
