Editing a Device Model
You can edit a device from its View Device Model page. For an existing device model, you can change its description, its alias, and whether or not it is the default device model. You cannot change its model name, default host ID type, license format, device series, identity, or pre-installed product (if any).
To edit a device model
| 1. | On the View Device Model page, click Edit > Edit this Device Model. The Producer Portal opens the Edit Device Model page for the current device model. |
| 2. | Make any necessary changes. |
| 3. | Click Edit Device Model. The Producer Portal saves your changes to the device model and opens its View Device Model page. |
