Adding Features or Feature Bundles to a Product

Products are collections of features. Use the controls on the Create a Product page to add features and feature bundles to a product.

To add a feature or feature bundles to a product

1.

A pop up window appears in which you can search for and select one or more of the Available Features/Feature Bundles. Note that the list may be large enough to appear on multiple pages in the pop-up window.

Click the right arrow to move those features to the Selected Features/Feature Bundles list.

When the list is complete, click the Add button to add the features or feature bundles to the product.

On the Create a Product page, if necessary, modify the Quantity to change the count of the feature or feature bundle in the product.

For example, say the count of Feature A is 3 in feature bundle FB1. When 2 units of FB1 are added to a product, a license generated for the product contains 6 counts of Feature A.

To remove one or more features or feature bundles from the product, select the features or feature bundles and click the Remove Features or Feature Bundles button. Click the Reset button to reset all the product fields.

On the Create a Product page, click the Save button to save the product or click the Add New Product button to save the product and start to create another product.

Note:After a product has been saved, the history of its state change can be viewed by clicking the View History button.

Click the Next button to link license models to a product.

Note:Adding or removing features to or from an existing product with a line item mapped to a Cloud License Server (CLS) instance will result in the feature changes being cascaded to all CLS instances with that line item.
