Supporting Embedded Licenses
To support embedded licenses, you can easily add or delete additional licenses, or re-allocate them between devices, in response to customer demands, maintenance, or market conditions. Some of the operations you can perform include:

Temporary (emergency or stop-gap, for example) licenses |
To edit additional licenses for a particular device
|
1.

Click Devices > Search Devices. The Producer Portal opens the Search Devices page. |

2.

Specify search criteria to locate the device you want to change and click Search. |
|
3.
|
From the list of devices, select a device to manage. |
|
4.
|
Under Entitlements, edit the entitlements for the selected device. |
Changes to additional licenses are not performed in real time, but take effect on each device the next time the affected devices connect to FlexNet Operations, or the next time the license is copied by a user to a given device.
Pre-installed licenses are not transferable between devices.
